2026 Palliative Care Conference Booster

Friday, October 2, 2026, The Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health (CERAH), Lakehead University will be hosting the 2026 Palliative Care Conference Booster at the Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre in Thunder Bay, Ontario as well as online via Zoom!

In-Person Conference Registration (Full Delegate, Student, Hospice Volunteer) fee includes:

  • 3 Plenary Presentations
  • 1 Concurrent Session
  • Nutrition Breaks (2)
  • Breakfast

  • Networking Opportunities with delegates, presenters, and booth displayers

Exhibitor Booth Opportunity

  • Non-profit organizations/Educational Institutions - FREE
  • For-profit organizations - $250.00


Please Note: Booth spaces are limited. Selection of booths will be at the discretion of the organizers.

Virtual Hub Viewing

  • A Hub registration is intended for groups participating in the conference virtually from a shared location. Each Hub registration covers 3–10 participants. If your group exceeds 10 participants, an additional Hub registration is required.
  • Only the Hub ‘lead’ should register using this form. Following payment, we will send instructions for individual participant registration so that each attendee can receive their certificate of attendance.


Students must provide proof of full-time enrolment to receive the student rate. "Student" refers to any individual who is currently enrolled in an academic program or who has graduated from a program within the past two years. ** Hospice volunteers must register through their volunteer organization to receive the volunteer rate.

There will be no interpretation provided at the conference. All main sessions (e.g opening and closing ceremonies, keynotes, and panels) will be presented in English.
By registering for this conference, I acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken throughout the event. Photographs may or may not include my recognizable image. My attendance constitutes permission for the conference organizers to use these photos and videos for promotional purposes, including but not limited to website, social media, and marketing materials. If I do not wish to be photographed or filmed, I will notify the organizers by emailing cerah@lakeheadu.ca.
If you must cancel your 2026 Booster registration, CERAH must receive written notice of cancellation by email. Requests should be submitted to: cerah@lakeheadu.ca Cancellation requests received: On or before September 18, 2026 – Full refund minus a $50 administration fee Between September 19 - September 25, 2026 – 50% refund + $50 administration fee On or after September 26, 2025 – No refund Please note that there is no charge for transferring a registration to another person.
