Experiential Travel Tourism Micro-credential

Created in partnership with Tourism Excellence North (TEN) and Destination Northern Ontario (DNO), the Experiential Travel Tourism Micro-Credential is for learners interested in the theory, practice, and design of Experiential Tourism Development within the unique Northern Ontario setting. Learners will learn/understand the theoretical foundations of the design and delivery of experiential tourism products and then put their knowledge into practical application with a capstone project where they design an experiential tourism product of their own.

The course includes several case study examples of ‘real life’ Northern Ontario tourism experiences that exemplify aspects of a successful experiential tourism product and will inspire students.
