Be a member of the Women's Volleyball Thunderwolf Pack! We have big goals this season and would love your support. Our plan is to utilize your contributions to our team to not only build a High Performance volleyball program but to also grow & empower our athletes to be strong female leaders in their community.

We are a young, up-and-coming team within the OUA this season. With last year being the first time the majority of us experienced university-level volleyball, we feel ready & prepared to compete with the best in Canada this year. One of our goals this season is to build our foundation as a High Performance program and in doing so we will need support from our communities & LU Alumni.

The steps we are planning to take towards building a high performance program include; working with a National Team Strength & Conditioning Coach, learning from an OUA Sport Dietician, investing in new video equipment, and travelling to compete against high-level teams in Exhibition play.

We are proud to represent Lakehead University and are working on bringing the OUA & USport Banners back to the Thunderdome.

Your support for team means so much to our athletes and program!

Your support will go into 3 different areas of our program for this season:

1. Optimizing Team Performance: ie. financial support for assistant coaches, new equipment and gear, PlaySight virtual video scouting program, team video camera for travel.
2. Supporting Holistic Athlete Health: providing access to a Sport Dietician, Strength & Conditioning Programming, healthy team meals on the road, Nutritious snacks for fuel during practices & games, access to a sport psychologist.
3. Creating more Travel Opportunities: coverage of costs for charter buses & flights, Exhibition Tournament fees, hotel accommodations, recruitment trips for future Thunderwolves.
