Big Ideas, Better World – Lakehead's first student business incubator space is taking students' start-up concepts from Ideation to Innovation.

One of the largest deterrents for students to start a business is a lack of start-up funding and while some support programs exist, there is often difficulty accessing these programs due to eligibility restraints.

INGENUITY is looking to launch a startup fund for students to access and get the help they need to take their business from idea to launch. These entrepreneurs need your help to bring their ideas to life.

Their future... one of the best investments you can make.

"Through it's space and resources, Ingenuity has provided me with an invaluable connection to other entrepreneurs, in a space where we can work, collaborate, and dream together. Simply sparking a conversation or bouncing ideas off of a fellow entrepreneur would not be possible without such a dedicated space. Most critically, the space allows a professional environment for work to take place, from video conferences to client meetings. When it comes to professional image, there is a remarkable difference between meeting a client at the Ingenuity space versus at the library or your dining table at home. The Ingenuity space gives legitimacy to the work that student entrepreneurs pursue, and in my opinion it is essential for the success of budding entrepreneurs to fully realize their potential."
