The Lakehead Women's Volleyball team competes in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference in Ontario, Canada and is looking for your help to assist with the high costs associated with running a post-secondary volleyball program in a remote part of the province of Ontario. This team is the only women's volleyball team in the conference that is required to fly to every away match due to our location. This not only puts a financial burden on the athletic department at Lakehead University but the institution itself. This makes it difficult to purchase new equipment, team apparel, and have a meaningful preseason and Christmas break exhibition schedule to prepare for our regular season play. The student-athletes in this program are extremely hardworking both on the court and in the classroom.
