Detailed Bus Schedules

June 4: Regardless of when your flight arrives, even if it is delayed, airport shuttles will be running throughout the day to help bring delegates from the airport to the three designated hotels and the Lakehead Residence.

June 5:
Bus 1 starts at Days Inn Sibley at 8:00am and goes to LU residences at 8:15am, then arrives at Delta at 8:30am
Bus 2 bus starts at Days Inn Golf Links at 8:30am and arrives at Delta at 8:45am

For those who did not join for the morning pre-conference workshops, buses will start a loop for pick up at hotels by 11:45am to arrive at the Delta Hotel by 12:30pm for a 1:00pm departure for the afternoon Community Site Visit sessions.

Days Inn Sibley at 11:45am
Days Inn Golf Links at 12:00pm
LU Residence at 12:15pm

Buses are ready to go at the Delta Hotel at 12:30pm and visit the designated community sites.

At 4:00pm, each of the buses goes to each of the hotels. They will do a loop of the 4 accommodations so that each guest at each stop will have the ability to get back to their hotel from wherever they are.

Evening event is at the Delta Hotel with a start time of 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Bus 1 picks up at Days Inn Golf Links at 6:15 pm and arrives at Delta at 6:30pm
Bus 2 picks up at Days Inn Sibley at 6:30pm and LU residence at 6:45pm to arrive at Delta at 7:00pm

Bus 1 starts a loop whenever it has people ready to go home (starting at approximately 9:00 pm)
Bus 2 starts loop at 9:30pm
Bus loops take 30 mins and drop at LU residence, Days Inn Sibley, and Days Inn Golf Links
Bus 1 loops at 10:00pm
Bus 2 loops at 10:10pm

June 6:
Bus 1 starts at Days Inn Sibley at 7:30am and picks up at Days Inn of Golf Links at 7:45am to arrive at LU by 8:00am
Bus 2 starts at Delta Hotel at 7:30am to arrive at LU at 7:45am

A bus will be available in the Agora circle to drive people back and forth between main campus and Fac of Ed (Bora Laskin on Oliver Rd.) for Tues/Wed and Thurs (morning only).

Bus 1 is at LU to depart at 5:00pm to bring guests to Days Inn Golf Links and Days Inn Sibley
Bus 2 is at LU at 5:15pm to return guests to Delta Hotel

June 7:
Bus 1 starts at Days Inn Sibley at 7:30am and picks up at Days Inn of Golf Links at 7:45am- arrive LU by 8:00am
Bus 2 starts at Delta Hotel at 7:30am arrive at LU at 7:45am

Bus 1 is at LU to depart at 4:30pm to bring guests to Days Inn Golf Links and Days Inn Sibley
Bus 2 is at LU at 4:30 pm to return guests to Delta Hotel

Bus 1 picks up at Delta Hotel at 6:00pm to FWHP
Bus 2 Picks up at Days Inn on Golf Links at 6:00pm
Bus 3 (small bus) picks up at 6:00pm at LU then goes to Days Inn on Sibley

Everyone is at FWHP before 6:30 - 7:00pm

Bus 3 (small bus) departs 9:00 pm to do the loop to hotels and come back to FWHP within one hour
Bus 2 departs 9:45 pm-10:00pm
Bus 1 departs 10:00pm
Bus 3 (24 pax) does the final run

June 8:
Buses will be picking up from each hotel at 7:30am to arrive to LU by 8:00am.
Please note that there is only one bus per morning and if you miss this bus, you are to arrange your own transportation.
All guests staying on campus at Lakehead Residence will walk up to the main campus.

Buses will begin taking guests from the University to the airport starting at 12:00 pm and will run until 5:00 pm. If you would like to stay on campus and work until your shuttle arrives, we will have designated areas for you to do so, and your luggage will be secured for you.

Please note if you miss the bus you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation using one of the taxi services listed.

Please Note: There is a childrens event happening at LU on Thursday (small children) so after the buses drop off the delegates from their hotels in the morning, we will shift our pick up and drop off area to outside of the Faculty Lounge so as to avoid any pinch points.  

We will have Bus 1 start an airport shuttle on the hour at 10:00am from LU to the airport for anyone leaving at noon or later.

At 1:00pm Bus 2 will do a hotel loop for those returning to their hotel (departing the Faculty Lounge area at 1:00pm) and go to Days Inn Golf Links, Delta and Days Inn Sibley.
