Check-In & Badge Pick Up/Requirement

June 4: We will have volunteers at each hotel and the Lakehead Residence from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm to help get you checked in and give you your badge and conference bag. If we don't catch you then, there will be other times to collect your badge and bag.
Please note that these are not required for the pre-conference event, but will be for all other events.

June 5: Pre-conference workshops and the community showcase tour do not require a badge, but we will have a sign-in form to verify that you have registered. We will have an opportunity for you to collect your badge and bag this evening after the opening reception.

June 6-8: Check-in and badges are required for all on-campus events and the awards ceremony, so please ensure that this is on your person at all times.

Registration Desk Hours

June 5: Delta Hotel from 7pm -10pm (available for check in and badge pick up during the Opening Reception- you can pick up your badge and bags before you leave)

June 6: Agora- Lakehead University 8:00 am until 4:30 pm

June 7: Agora- Lakehead University 8:00 am until 4:30 pm

June 8: Agora- Lakehead University 8:00 am until 4:30 pm (Please note that if you have had to check out of your hotel, you can tag and leave your luggage with a volunteer at the registration desk)

Your C2U Expo badge is your entrance to all sessions and included social events. Some social events additionally require tickets.

Please note if you miss the bus you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation using one of the taxi services listed.

June 4: Airport shuttles will be running throughout the day to help bring delegates from the airport to the three designated hotels and the Lakehead Residence.

June 5: Buses will start picking up attendees at their hotels and LU Residence at 8:00 am. If you are not attending the morning workshops, buses will be picking up attendees at 12:00pm to bring them to the Delta Hotel for the afternoon community site visits.

For the evening reception, buses will start picking up attendees at 6:15pm from their hotels and LU Residence to arrive at the Delta by 7pm. Buses will depart the Delta hotel around 9pm to bring people back to their hotels and LU residence (continuous loop of buses until 10pm).

June 6: Buses will be picking up from each hotel at 7:30am to arrive to LU by 8:00am.
Please note that there is only one bus per morning and if you miss this bus, you are to arrange your own transportation.
All guests staying on campus at Lakehead Residence will walk up to the main campus.

There will also be a bus at the Agora circle to drive people back and forth between the main campus and the Bora Laskin Faculty of Education to attend Stream One.
Buses will depart from the University at 4:30pm to bring guests back to their hotels.

June 7: Buses will be picking up from each hotel at 7:30am to arrive at LU by 8:00am.
Please note that there is only one bus per morning and if you miss this bus, you are to arrange your own transportation.
All guests staying on campus at Lakehead Residence will walk up to the main campus.

There will also be a bus at the Agora circle to drive people back and forth between the main campus and the Bora Laskin Faculty of Education to attend Stream One.

Buses will depart from the University at 4:30pm to bring guests back to their hotels.

For the evening Gala Award Dinner at Fort William Historical Park, buses will pick up guests at 6:00 pm from their hotels and Lakehead University residence to arrive at FWHP by 6:30pm-7pm. Buses will then depart from FWHP on a continuous loop from 9pm to 10pm to bring guests back to their hotels and Lakehead University Residence.

June 8: Buses will be picking up from each hotel at 7:30am to arrive at LU by 8:00am.
Please note that there is only one bus per morning and if you miss this bus, you are to arrange your own transportation.
All guests staying on campus at Lakehead Residence will walk up to main campus.

Buses will begin taking guests from the University to the airport starting at 12:00 pm and will run until 5:00 pm. If you would like to stay on campus and work until your shuttle arrives, we will have designated areas for you to do so, and your luggage will be secured for you.

Please Note: There is a childrens event happening at LU on Thursday (small children) so after the buses drop off the delegates from their hotels in the morning, we will shift our pick up and drop off area to outside of the Faculty Lounge so as to avoid any pinch points.

Delta Hotel: Parking spots available in front of the Delta Hotel at Prince Arthur Landing and overflow parking available.

Quiet Room: Need to take a break from the noise? Located in the University Centre next to the faculty lounge you can rest in the Little Dining Room.

Campus Store: Purchase tech essentials, supplies/accessories, beverages, drinkware, clothing and snacks. Open 10am-4pm.

Grad Conference Lounge: Looking for a quiet place to work? Located CASES building room number FB2002.

Health & Wellbeing Guideline

To help everyone enjoy the conference, please choose to stay home/at your hotel if you are not feeling well.
